About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Automation Strategist to lead our digital transformation efforts in mobile app testing automation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying a testing automation framework for mobile applications, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet business expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing automation, with at least 6 years of experience in automating native apps using various approaches. You will be responsible for assessing the current testing organization, defining and implementing a testing automation framework, and ensuring its governance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess Current Testing Organization: Evaluate the current ways of working, testing organization, and goals of the automation project.
  2. Assess Current Testing Automation Framework: Evaluate the current testing automation framework for mobile apps.
  3. Analyze Project Context: Analyze the needs of the project context, including market customizations, test data needs, environments, and other variables that can be used for testing optimization.
  4. Collect Technologies: Collect all current technologies, both open-source and licensed, that can be part of the technological setup.
  5. Assess Technologies: Assess a short list of technologies to work with a proof of concept (PoC) based on a criteria list.
  6. Build Business Case: Build a business case for the selected technologies, including programming-based, low-code, record and play, etc.
  7. Provide Benefits and Disadvantages: Provide benefits and disadvantages for the selected technologies in the assessment.
  8. Implement and Integrate Framework: Lead the implementation and integration of the framework, considering involvement with other teams, such as development and devsecops.
  9. Integrate with Other Systems: Integrate the framework with other systems in the organization, including reporting, CI/CD, etc.
  10. Lead Change Management: Lead the change management process and ensure the adoption of the new testing automation framework.
  11. Govern Testing Automation Framework: Govern the testing automation framework and lead the continuous improvement plan.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with at least 10 years of experience in testing automation, with a strong background in automating native apps using various approaches. You will be responsible for leading an international digital team and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet business expectations.
