Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Financial Grade Identity (FGI) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering powerful new functionality for our SaaS customers, collaborating with engineers to drive technical improvements, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and deliver new functionality for our SaaS customers
  • Support the team as a technical expert, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and reliable
  • Tackle complex pieces of work and create proof of concepts when breaking new ground
  • Drive technical improvements to our codebase and architecture
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on sound engineering practices
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript) and creating and maintaining public APIs
  • Experience working on full-stack apps and backend services, with a focus on driving best practices
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts
