Job Summary:

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. - B76 is seeking a highly skilled Energy Market Advisor to lead our energy strategy and ensure the resilience of our energy supply. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of energy markets, grid outlooks, and market incentives, as well as the ability to formulate and implement strategies that enhance our energy independence and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Energy Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive energy strategy that aligns with organizational goals for resilience, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Energy Procurement and Contract Management: Contribute to the sourcing and procurement of energy supplies, focusing on reliability and sustainability.
  • Resilience and Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with energy supply disruptions and market volatility.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Advocacy: Monitor and interpret energy regulations, policies, and compliance requirements at all levels.
  • Innovation and Sustainability Leadership: Lead initiatives to incorporate innovative technologies and practices that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Communicate the organization's energy strategy and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in energy markets, and resilience planning.
  • Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, grid operations, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing energy strategies and resilience plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in energy management.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects, energy storage solutions, and smart grid technologies.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards.
