Naval Architect Position

Naval Architect/Marine Engineer/Marine Designer Role

We are seeking a skilled Naval Architect/Marine Engineer/Marine Designer to join our team at One Palma Superyacht Service.

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for assessing project requirements, researching feasibility, and planning and supervising the construction of sails and composite parts.

You will also be responsible for producing detailed designs of sails and composite parts for yachts, using drawings and specialist computer software, and developing and utilizing test procedures including computer modeling and scale models.

Additionally, you will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing data and test results, sourcing and purchasing components, equipment, and materials, and ensuring adherence to appropriate health and safety legislation/standards.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject such as naval architecture, marine or mechanical engineering, engineering design, or civil or structural engineering, and relevant shipyard/design office work experience is desirable.
