Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breastfeeding Expert - Trainer and Educator to join our team at Fidelity Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions on advanced lactation management and related topics.

This is a remote position located in Austin, Texas, and we offer a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision options. Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching Classes: Conduct four training sessions of Advanced Lactation Management (ALM) classes, each consisting of two classes that provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills in lactation management.
  • Lunch and Learn Sessions: Prepare and deliver one to four lunch and learn training sessions on topics assigned by HHSC, ensuring sessions are engaging, informative, and tailored to the needs of participants.
  • Special Assignments: Complete special assignments related to breastfeeding management and lactation principles as requested by HHSC, providing expert advice and support on various breastfeeding-related projects.
  • Curriculum Development: Research and develop new continuing education curricula upon HHSC request, ensuring all educational materials are up-to-date, evidence-based, and aligned with current best practices in lactation management.
Requirements
  • License: Licensed Registered Nurse Associate/bachelor's degree
  • Certification: Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or equivalent certification
  • Experience: Extensive experience in breastfeeding management and lactation principles, proven track record of delivering effective training sessions, strong research and curriculum development skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000 per year, based on an hourly rate of $40-$45/hour and assuming a 40-hour workweek.
