Your Role
As a SAP MM Developer Consultant, you will play a key role in analyzing and mapping retail business requirements to SAP MM functionalities. You will configure and customize the MM module to support retail-specific procurement and inventory management processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the supply chain.
You will work closely with clients to manage article master data, vendor master data, and purchasing info records. You will also integrate MM with other SAP modules, such as SD, WM, and FI, to facilitate end-to-end business process efficiency.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and map retail business requirements to SAP MM functionalities
- Configure and customize the MM module to support retail-specific procurement and inventory management processes
- Work closely with clients to manage article master data, vendor master data, and purchasing info records
- Integrate MM with other SAP modules, such as SD, WM, and FI
- Collaborate in project teams through planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP Retail implementations, system upgrades, and optimizations
- Provide maintenance post-implementation, resolving issues and adapting the system to changing business needs
Your Profile
We are looking for a skilled SAP MM Developer Consultant with:
Sound experience in SAP Retail with focus on MMStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and stakeholder engagementFamiliarity with ABAP reading code, debugging, and programmingRobust understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics execution within the retail industryKnowledge/experience with vendor and procurement process optimizationData migration and master data governance knowledgePurchase order management and processing knowledgeSupply chain and inventory management knowledgeGood English skills, written and spokenNice to Have
- Experience with SAP-CAR and/or integration of POS-Systems
- Experience with S/4 HANA, as well as transformation R/3 to S/4 Hana
