The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to join our Secure Connectivity team, part of Cyber Technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security principles, with a focus on firewalls, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and policy orchestration. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing network security measures to protect our organization's data and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage firewall policies and configurations to ensure robust network security.
- Design, implement, and maintain ZTNA frameworks to enhance the security posture of our network.
- Improve policy orchestration processes to boost security operations efficiency.
- Support network security assessments and environment analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support and respond to network security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into network infrastructure projects.
- Maintain and update network security documentation, including policies, procedures, and configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security technologies and industry best practices to continually improve network defenses.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in IT, with almost 2 years in network security.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, ZTNA, and policy orchestration.
- Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with security incident response and mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with network security tools and technologies.
