We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the University of Navarra, located in Pamplona, Spain.
Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Position Offer on RNA Structured Therapeutics involves exploring the identification and characterization of natural and artificial RNA structured elements that exert regulatory functions in cancer. This project focuses on harnessing these novel RNA structured elements for cancer therapeutics.
About the Project
The project is led by Dr. Fernando Pastor and Dr. Puri Fortes and builds on previous work from both groups. It requires research skills in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including RNA structure screening using different variants of SELEX and massive high-throughput performance of RNA at different levels.
Key Responsibilities
- RNA structure screening using different variants of SELEX
- Massive high-throughput performance of RNA at different levels (PARIS, RNAseq, scRNAseq)
- Validation of such structured elements in cell culture
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with laboratory experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques. Candidates must have:
- A Ph.D. degree
- At least one publication as first author in a Q1 journal (reviews are not considered)
- Excellent communication skills (English C1 level)
