About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Match Operations Assistant, VAR. As a key member of our Football department in Spain, you will be responsible for delivering our services in La Liga and La Liga 2, as well as the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Setting up and maintaining our VAR system technology;
  2. Ensuring the smooth operation of our audio and video systems;
  3. Conducting pre-match checks and troubleshooting issues with our hardware and software;
  4. Liaising with football officials, stadium personnel, and host broadcasters;
  5. Monitoring and operating our technologies during matches;
  6. Building and maintaining our hardware and equipment;
  7. Configuring and testing our software;
  8. Providing technical support and training to our team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills;
  2. Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  3. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to flexible working conditions;
  4. Full valid driving license and working proficiency in English and Spanish;
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
