Procurement Professional Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing team with communication across suppliers and internal departments.
Your key responsibilities will include engaging with new suppliers, requesting samples, and maintaining relationships. You will also negotiate rates and terms for purchases, both new and existing.
In addition, you will analyze supplier proposals, RFPs, and procurement data; manage Purchase Orders. You will maintain and update price lists and supplier records, and support international awards and draft/refine procurement processes.
About Your Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a Purchasing Team, ideally in a production company
- Greater than 3 years of work experience in an international environment
- Familiar with subcontracting and international supplier management
- Multidisciplinary approach and have experience in indirect procurement
- Knowledge in developing & negotiating local contractual or SLA terms with vendors
- MS Office proficient, knowledge in SAP
- Fluent English and Spanish
