Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead the projects of our new Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing AI/ML solutions from discovery to delivery, elevating the performance and effectiveness of the WebBeds marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse problems and design solutions with fit-for-purpose AI/ML technology
  • Prototype and advance machine learning and artificial intelligence products in multiple areas, such as forecasting, price optimization, outlier detection, and generative AI
  • Experiment with different techniques, algorithms, and tools to optimize model performance and accuracy
  • Write production-ready code and work with software engineering colleagues to bring AI & ML solutions live that provide value for our customers and partners
  • Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
  • BSc (or higher) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience developing fit-for-purpose AI/ML solutions that created a measurable business or customer impact
  • Proficient in modern AI/ML techniques, particularly dealing with tabular data
  • Excellent working knowledge of Python and ML, and a solid understanding of SQL
  • Passionate about creating business value and AI/ML techniques
  • Take ownership of your work and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
