Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator Agent to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and activating Agent accounts, supporting active Agent networks, and maintaining data in multiple Western Union databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and activate Agent accounts
  • Support active Agent networks
  • Update and maintain data in multiple Western Union databases
  • Provide critical control indicators to preserve and support the Agent enrollment process
  • Provide back-office support to Sales people on the field and to other Western Union departments
  • Validate and execute Agent's contract (new and renewal) for completeness and accuracy according to contract compliance and legal requirements
  • Validate and execute Agent's maintenance requests for completeness and accuracy according to requirements provided by money service license holder
  • Handle and resolve complex escalations from business partners and teammates
  • Create Ad Hoc reports for business partners, senior management and/or other departments

Requirements

  • Fluency in English with outstanding verbal, written and listening skills
  • Fluency in French with outstanding verbal, written and listening skills
  • Customer-oriented approach and good communication skills
  • Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills
  • Attentiveness to details
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly structured, deadline-driven environment
  • Previous experience in Operations or Compliance would be an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and big data management tools would be an advantage
  • University/College degree would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Western Union Agent enrollment and maintenance processes would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of AS400, WUAMS, IBIS, Sales Force and/or SharePoint databases, ARC+, WU Shop, Voyager, Macros and Mass Loads would be an advantage as well
