We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Engineer to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating testing activities for our clients in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our project team and client to prepare and monitor test schedules.
- Supervise the level control of the piece to be tested and its supply, with the support of the client and its suppliers.
- Participate in the preparation of tests, preparing checklists and collaborating in the preparation of test samples.
- Monitor and report any incidents during the execution of tests.
- Document, analyze, and communicate test results to the client.
- Participate in project follow-up meetings with the client and our team.
Requirements:
- Preferable mechanical engineer degree.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive sector working in development and testing projects related to body and body parts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work as a team player and individually.
- Flexible, analytical, multi-tasking, strong problem-solving, reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective documentation and organizational skills based on results, solutions, and tasks to drive outcomes.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking and writing).
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
