The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our Inside Sales team in the development and execution of rapid-growth sales initiatives. As a leader, you will excel in a fast-paced and dynamic growth environment, showcasing your background by driving a team of high-caliber inside sales professionals focused on New Logo Business (Hunters).

Your Role

  • Build, manage, coach, and drive a team of inside sales professionals to achieve bookings targets for the identified market segment.
  • Set expectations, provide clarity, and KPIs for the Inside Sales team to achieve.
  • Work closely with Nutanix Field Sales to design a "Divide & Conquer" new logo sales account approach.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage Inside Sales professionals to build pipeline and close revenue through Nutanix Channel & OEM Partners.
  • Work with Nutanix marketing to design and implement campaigns focused at various target accounts.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts and track sales activity leveraging SFDC.
  • Join Customer Calls with the Inside Sales team to coach and assist in closing bookings.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years sales experience and 3+ years management experience.
  • Experience in enterprise sales required, Storage/Networking/Virtualization/Cloud or Infrastructure industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of an Inside sales team.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and retaining talent.
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Travel 1 to 2 times a quarter required.
