Job Title: Validation & Integration Manager/Lead

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Validation & Integration Manager/Lead to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our hardware and software solutions based on Thales components using state-of-the-art biometric products and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement validation and integration strategies with schedules
  • Coordinate and test end-to-end solutions by integrating software and hardware components from other teams
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, identify, and isolate issues
  • Write documentation and procedures required for the validation and integration process
  • Participate in customer acceptances, deployments, trainings, and demos
Requirements:
  • More than 5 years of proven experience in validation and integration management
  • Experience in creating validation and integration strategies, test plans, and schedules
  • Ability to coordinate integration of software components from different teams
  • Experience in building and testing end-to-end solutions
  • Reporting and KPI follow-up, including optimization of planning to meet deadlines
  • Participation in meetings, demos, acceptances, deployments, and trainings with customers
  • QA testing experience, including 2 years in test and integration management
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with API testing and Web Services SOAP/REST
  • Non-functional testing using JMeter, Postman, or SOAP UI
  • Hardware and software components integration
  • Scripting language for automatic tests (e.g., Python)
  • Testing with Docker and Jenkins environments
  • ELK stack (Kibana, Elasticsearch, and Logstash)
  • Experience in IT hardware and software, networking, or biometric hardware integration
  • Knowledge of SQL and Database (at least one among Oracle, SQL Server, or Maria DB)
  • Corporate or standard methodologies (ISTQB, Agile, etc.)
