Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Chemtech Finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will support the division Controller and division CFO with financial analysis, variance and root cause analysis, and legal entity reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive and timely financial information for business management and decision making.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including variance and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure timely submission of legal entity reporting packages, aligning with Sulzer Ltd standards and accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare and deliver trainings to legal entities worldwide for reporting and consolidation system matters.
  • Contribute to the monthly preparation of the business review presentation.
  • Perform various ad-hoc reporting requests to equip business with financial understanding.
  • Monitor and control HQ Cost Centers and CAPEX spending.
  • Actively support Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
  • Identify and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function.
  • Drive automation of reports (QlikSense, QlikView, Sharepoint) and finance process optimization.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Experience with consolidation systems.
  • Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) and business application tools.
  • Strong analytical personality with high energy to drive for result.
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks, and processes.
  • Positive, flexible, and adaptive approach and a team player attitude.
  • Fluency in English, German is beneficial.
