Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the required abilities to participate in the entire data lake lifecycle, including maintaining and evolving the cloud data platform (CDF) that supports the data lake, collaborating with other teams on implementing and integrating related business cases into the CDF, and ensuring adherence to best practices and principles described by the data reference architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps principles and experience working in AWS environments in the data analytics area. They will also have expertise in key AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, IAM, and EMR. Additionally, they should have experience working with Terraform or Cloud Formation for infrastructure-as-code and a good understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) principles.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience working in cloud environments. They will also have a good understanding of well-architected frameworks and experience working with additional AWS services such as SageMaker, Lake Formation, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and EKS. Python, bash shell, Scala, and Spark are also desirable skills.
