We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Researcher to join our team at Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Salamanca (IBSAL) in Spain.
About the JobThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of 1,588.08 euros gross per month, including the proportional part of two extraordinary payments, as well as additional benefits such as one month to cover pending holidays 2024 and full time work with 35 hours per week.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic research environment focused on haematology projects, specifically working within the MDS Unit, UMBRELLA-SUMMA: Haematology project.
Key responsibilities will include handling and cryopreservation of RNA, DNA, proteins, and samples of haematopoietic malignancies, as well as developing standard operating procedures, coordinating laboratory activities, and interpreting results obtained.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrable work experience in processing haematopoietic progenitors and mesenchymal cells.
- Experience in RNA, DNA, protein extraction, cell population separation techniques, and handling and cryopreservation of samples.
- Ability to read English, implement and standardize new laboratory techniques, and degree of disability.
