Aldwych Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of civil engineering projects, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of experts.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including levels, underground drainage, utilities, pavements and roads, flooding and earthworks.
- Engage with and achieve approvals from relevant authorities, including Building Control, environment agencies, planning departments, and statutory undertakes.
- Manage sewer connections and adoptions, and works in the public highway, including detailed knowledge of UK-specific s104, s106, s278 applications.
- Develop and implement design codes, standards, and regulations, including Eurocodes, British standards, and building regulations.
- Collaborate with our design team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering, either working towards Chartership or Chartered.
- Extensive experience with civil design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microdrainage / Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of design codes, standards, and regulations, including Eurocodes, British standards, and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
