Key Responsibilities- System Integration: Design, develop, and implement software integration solutions to connect various software modules and components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and integration points. Ensure compatibility and interoperability between different software applications and systems.
- API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different software systems. Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of integrated systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and stability of integrated software.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and system architecture. Provide clear and concise documentation for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to understand software design and architecture. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to integration best practices and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to software integration. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance integration efficiency.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Integration Engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with API development and integration technologies (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
