About the Role

Gentoo Media is a leading affiliate in the online casino and sportsbook industry, with a portfolio of products and services that include AskGamblers, Time2Play, CasinoTopsOnline, WSN, Casinomeister, and GiG Comply. We are currently growing our team and seeking a Site Manager to focus on our German assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the content and SEO strategy for our DACH affiliate websites, as allocated by Gentoo Media.
  • Implement strategies in collaboration with the SEO-Content team to realize the strategic objectives of the Publishing department, including defending, growing, and diversifying the business.
  • Day-to-day website management, including uploading content and content editing.
  • Create SEO-friendly content in the German language, including metadata and reviews.
  • Keep an updated record of performing pages for each website and communicate these to the relevant teams.
  • Ensure that all content follows guidelines and is aligned with standards and guidelines provided by the Head of Publishing and the Head of SEO.
  • Lead communication with freelance writers and provide them with detailed templates and guidelines for all website content.
  • Attend monthly DACH meetings and assist in creating the presentation.
  • Regularly check our portfolio of websites to discover issues or areas for improvement in terms of content and SEO.
  • Use SEO and Content tools to conduct website audits and monitor competitor websites to discover and fill content gaps.
  • Oversee the launch of new projects, websites, and/or website languages with the aim of contributing to the diversification of our business.
  • Provide reports on content performance.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated passion for content creation in the German language.
  • Great understanding of stylistics of the German language.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress or similar).
  • Positive attitude and a growth mindset with a desire for innovation.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the iGaming market in Germany.
  • Experience of working within the online gaming industry is considered an advantage.
  • Native level knowledge of written and spoken German.
  • Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
  • Ability to work independently with little daily supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple websites.
