We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Ambit. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines to support continuous data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with our IT team and business stakeholders to determine functional and non-functional requirements for pipelines.
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with real-time data.
  • Strong experience with stream-processing systems and continuous data processing frameworks like Kafka, Kinesis.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS data services such as Snowflake, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue, Athena, etc.
  • Experience with AWS data lake and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience working with agile methodology and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English.
