Akuaro's partner is a fast-growing, tech-enabled real estate management and hospitality company headquartered in Europe. They are part of a larger hospitality group that manages over 1,200 accommodation units, including short-term rentals, hotels, and other unique stays, as well as 10 F&B assets across various regions. Their mission is to provide guests with unique hospitality experiences while promoting efficient and sustainable travel with style.

Since their founding, they've expanded operations to 17 cities, with plans to continue growing globally by offering travellers smart, stylish accommodations and top-tier service.

Your Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational activities across multiple regions, reporting directly to the CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the vacation rental industry and contribute to the company's growth.

Your Journey

You will develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and ensure consistent high-quality service delivery across all locations. You will lead and manage a diverse team of operations managers, coordinators, and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to align with company objectives.

You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, vendors, and partners, driving collaboration and maximizing business opportunities.

You will identify areas for process improvement and innovation, implementing best practices and technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance the guest experience.

You will monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and safety throughout the organization.

What You Bring to the Journey
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree in Sales, Finance, or similar is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior operational leadership role within the hospitality or real estate industry, with experience managing multi-site operations on a global scale.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making, combined with a hands-on operational mindset.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other language, preferably Spanish or another European language.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and work across different time zones as needed.
  • Self-starter, creative, proactive, and dynamic, with a passion for working in a fast-growing environment.
  • Adaptable to change, resilient, and confident working in cross-functional teams.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
