Job Summary

Sabic Americas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and credit memos.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships, including communication and issue resolution.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance, to ensure seamless payment processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of VAT guidelines and regulations.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
