We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer to join our team at sennder, a leading digital freight forwarder in Europe. As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our logistics platform, working closely with our team to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems, particularly with microservices.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software systems using Typescript, Node.Js, and Vue.Js.
- Participate in the development of new solutions within our team's scope, brainstorming new ideas, solving complex problems, and transforming them into actionable designs.
- Take ownership of the team's components and libraries, ensuring their consistency and effectiveness.
- Lead architectural designs and guide mid-sized projects from inception to completion, collaborating closely with other teams.
- Work alongside talented and experienced engineers within an empowered, autonomous, and agile team environment.
- Drive quality across the stack by adhering to solid engineering principles and providing detailed feedback to colleagues.
- Actively participate in the development of a robust event-driven microservice architecture and micro-frontend framework.
- Collaborate with product managers to design and plan features that are ready for launch, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Engage in and contribute to sennder's inner source projects, enhancing and sharing your expertise within the broader tech community.
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems, particularly with microservices.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
- Proficiency in Typescript, Node.Js, and Vue.Js.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment practices and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Nice to have: experience with Terraform and Kafka, familiarity with Fastify and CI/CD integration using Gitlab.
