About the Role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an economist to contribute to cases by helping clients understand how competition works in their industry. As a member of our team, you will work closely with senior staff to identify key issues, develop solutions, and present findings to clients.

Economists typically join us after completing their Master's degree in economics. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this position is €100,000 - €140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Please note that there will be two interview periods for this position: one in December and one in April. We encourage candidates who wish to be considered for the December interviews to submit their applications as soon as possible. Recruitment for this position will continue until the closing date, and applications submitted after December will still be eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysing qualitative and quantitative client data to better understand how competition works in their industryReviewing literature and contributing to discussions about the theoretical and empirical approachConducting empirical analysis using Excel and StataDrafting reports summarising analysisParticipating in client meetings and conference calls

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in economics, ideally with a focus on microeconomics, industrial organisation, and/or econometrics
  • Highly analytical
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Stata and Excel skills desirable
  • Fluency in English
