About the Role

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a rich history of innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team in Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure software solutions using Python,.NET, SQL Server, Angular, and Azure.
  • Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Participate actively in coding, debugging, and reviewing code to ensure high-quality software development.
  • Oversee product roadmaps, ensuring on-time delivery of solutions within budget and scope.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices, implementing them to enhance our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in.NET for backend development, with bonus points for Python and Machine Learning experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular for frontend development and expertise in Azure cloud services.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring software development teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and experience working in Agile/Scrum setup.
