Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy for our Flight Controls Commodity, ensuring the successful management of our sub-commodity and securing value for money proposals for our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement a Commodity strategy for Flight Controls
  • Manage supplier relationships and supplier-related development programs
  • Lead the Commodity Multi-Functional Team
  • Lead bids, tenders, and supplier selection processes
  • Contribute to Procurement/Value Creation projects and initiatives
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure program expectations are met
  • Set up, negotiate, and manage contractual agreements with suppliers
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, engineering, services, and project/program management
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to persuade, influence, and convince
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with successful stakeholder management
  • Able to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks
  • Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others, and conflict management
  • Negotiation level of English
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset
