About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Technician to join our Engineering Department at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests and colleagues
- Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues
- Comply with local legislation and regulations
- Respond to any departmental changes as dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or hotel
- Be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any reasonable duties within the scope of capability as assigned
Requirements
- Professional background in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) or civil work issues
- Previous experience in a similar position or as an Engineering or Maintenance Technician
- Time management and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing
- Positive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
- Team worker
- Extremely detailed
Desirable
- Intermediate knowledge of any other languages (English)
