Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal/Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Bryden Wood. As a key member of our MEP team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of Data Centre projects in Spain, ensuring a high standard of engineering in accordance with our standards and procedures.
About the Role:
- Manage and coordinate projects to meet all required deadlines.
- Undertake engineering activities as required and where appropriate act as Design Team Leader.
- Write Technical documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks associated with mechanical engineering and mission-critical projects.
- Work closely with our Architects, Structural and Civils Engineers to develop complex and exciting projects.
- Bring your specialist knowledge to work in direct contact with our clients, enabling collaboration and rapid scheme development.
- Support the project team in the delivery of a project including project management, financial, technical, and following company QA/QC procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Industrial Engineering ideally from a Spanish University.
- Chartered Engineer Status.
- Minimum of 3 years working within Mission Critical Projects in Spain/Europe.
- Experience in Construction/Consulting for mission-critical projects.
- Previous experience in Spain is required.
- Full knowledge of Mechanical Technical design for all RIBA stages, including carrying out calculations, concept development, project coordination, H&S and Risk management, and project delivery.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
