We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to manage all stages of project design, including conceptual and advanced system design, observing regulatory codes, customer requirements, balance of systems, site visits, permitting, and technical support during the construction phase.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review energy production models, project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers.
- Act as technical supervisor on site during the construction phase and project implementation in collaboration with the Project Manager during planning and construction to assure quality and execution according to schedule.
- Manage and coordinate external resources such as structural, civil, and electrical engineer consultants, geotechnical and topographic surveyors, or other specialized professionals as needed in the design and commissioning of photovoltaic systems.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in project designs, plans, processes, and product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- 5 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry, ideally in an international business environment.
- Experience in leading projects from a technical side, working independently on tasks from beginning to completion.
- A valid driver's license.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, any other language is a plus.
