Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HPC/AI Systems Engineer to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and administration of our IT services, including mail, web, databases, servers, and storage subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
• Installation, maintenance, and update of IT services, including mail, web, databases, servers, and storage subsystems
• Configuration and administration of HPC supercomputing resources
• Configuration and administration of BSC cloud platforms, including OpenStack, OpenNebula, and oVirt
• Configuration and administration of BSC AI platforms
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IT services and infrastructure

Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in system administration of HPC Linux platforms
• Experience with distributed file systems, such as GPFS or Lustre
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as OpenStack or OpenNebula
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Experience with GPU clusters and NVIDIA GPUs
