About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Zigup Plc. As a key member of our accident repair team, you will be responsible for assessing damaged vehicles, identifying the correct repair methods, and preparing estimates for insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
  • Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare estimates for insurance companies
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies and manufacturer literature
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the bodyshop and across functional areas to ensure efficient repair processes

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA qualification in a related field
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
