Job DescriptionWe are seeking an engineer to provide remote support from our offices in Tres Cantos to the team in the control centers in Italy, Germany, and at the French space agency (CNES) in Toulouse, with the possibility of occasional trips to these sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving anomalies, supporting operator/L1 and L3 teams, investigating complex systems, creating workarounds and/or solutions to recover nominal operations, and defining test documentation.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates should have experience and interest in software development, the space sector, and satellite navigation systems. They should have a strong analytical ability, creativity to find alternative solutions, and knowledge of GNSS (Galileo or other navigation systems), Linux, Python, and IT systems.
