We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer proficient in Java and preferably experienced with Python. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems to support our innovative cloud-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, data pipelines, and APIs using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Utilize cloud technologies like AWS to deploy and manage backend services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with expertise in Java and frameworks like SpringBoot, Quarkus, or similar
- Familiarity with Python and willingness to work with it
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and experience with related technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink, or Kafka
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience with reactive programming and frameworks like Project Reactor
- Experience with document-oriented & search databases like Elasticsearch, Vespa, Solr, or equivalent
