This role involves navigating complex purchasing processes, leveraging industry expertise to drive down costs, and ensuring seamless product delivery to regional subsidiaries.
Main Responsibilities
- Source and procure high-quality pharmaceutical raw materials, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers, negotiating optimal pricing and terms while ensuring compliance with business strategy.
- Collaborate with the planning and logistics team to monitor inventory levels, track lead times, and proactively manage supplier performance.
- Contribute to category management initiatives, providing insights on market trends and proposing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and products, with a focus on APIs and excipients.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Czech language required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Procurement, Sales, or Business, with a minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Buyer of direct products/raw materials.
