We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer

to join our team at Visium in Valencia, Spain. As a seasoned software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications using containerization, Azure, and Kubernetes. You will leverage your expertise in Python, Typescript, and ReactJS to build scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your strong understanding of Neo4j, MongoDB, and Redis will enable you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. You will also be responsible for implementing REST APIs, managing CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing GitOps to ensure efficient and effective software development and deployment.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
  • Proficiency in Python, Typescript, ReactJS, and unit testing
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, especially Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of Neo4j, MongoDB, and Redis
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with fundamental front-end languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Understanding of the management of the development of a product (agile, scrum)
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming, large-scale software architecture, and networking
  • Understanding of secure backend/frontend communication
  • Knowledge of frontend libraries such as Material UI, ChakraUI, NextJS, Firebase, and ES6/7 syntax and features
