Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Proofpoint. As a key member of our tool and data science group, you will be responsible for creating, extending, and supporting tools for analyzing and presenting real-world data to determine the types of threats affecting our customers.

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will work closely with internal users such as threat analysts, developers, and data scientists to create new tools and extend existing ones. You will have the opportunity to see directly how the tools you contribute to enable Proofpoint to find, identify, and remediate new threats in the cybersecurity landscape globally.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain tools for analyzing and presenting real-world data.
2. Collaborate with internal users to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
3. Work with a wide variety of internal users, including threat analysts, developers, and data scientists.
4. Contribute to the development of next-generation cybersecurity solutions.
