Job Description
We are seeking a Costing Accountant who can utilize knowledge of cost accounting and accounting information systems to prepare all necessary documentation to file an SR&ED claim on behalf of our clients. The successful candidate will examine products and operations to determine which qualify for income tax incentives, the appropriate methodology to cost those activities and the methods to maximize those incentives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications: CA, CMA or CGA designation (or currently working toward designation), excellent communication skills, both written and oral, strong client focus and orientation towards achievement, excellent teamwork skills, strong attention to detail, able to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects, and a working knowledge of Taxprep and the SR&ED tax program.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience and location in Toronto, Canada.
