Horticultural Lead

Corteva Agriscience, a global leader in agriculture, is seeking an experienced Horticultural Lead to oversee daily operations at our Europe SPD Technology Center in Seville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing greenhouse operations, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring reliable and stable production of high-quality sunflowers and corn.

**Job Summary:**
The Horticultural Lead will guide the accelerated production process of high-quality sunflower, corn, and other crops. You will coordinate with departments such as Laboratory, Facility, Seed Handling, and Population Development to manage workloads efficiently and design/implement process improvements and protocols. Additionally, you will communicate key safety messages, engage with stakeholders, and ensure accurate data collection to maintain a precise database.

**Responsibilities:**

• Guide the accelerated production process of high-quality sunflower, corn, and other crops
• Coordinate with various departments (Laboratory, Facility, Seed Handling, and Population Development) to manage workloads efficiently
• Design and implement process improvements and protocols
• Communicate key safety messages and proactively engage with stakeholders and customers
• Ensure accurate data collection to maintain a precise database

**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in greenhouse management, engineering, horticulture, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of research experience, with at least 2 years in a controlled environment, is required. Robust understanding of plant biology and horticulture is essential, along with strong leadership and people management skills. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English (B2 level) is desired.

**Estimated Salary:** €55,000 - €70,000 per year
