About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Platform Tribe at ING. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in driving and implementing our automation vision, focusing on building platforms and services using the "everything as a code" mantra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and implement automation vision with a focus on building platforms and services using the "everything as a code" mantra.
  • Work hand in hand with the Engineering Platform Tribe team, Product Owners, and Architects to develop strategies and define principles for ING services.
  • Develop and maintain the Middleware layer in charge of our messaging platform (ESB) and our Redis database.
  • Implement new features to improve system reliability, such as monitoring, anomalies detection, and incidents handling.
  • Solve IT Risk and Security requirements, including coordination of Pentests, Vulnerability Scans review, Lifecycle Management, and Patching activities.
