Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shader Technical Artist to join our team. As a key member of our graphics department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality shaders and technical assets that bring our game worlds to life.
Your primary duties will include:
- Crafting and optimizing shader/master materials using Unreal Engine's node-based shader graph and HLSL/GLSL/CG shader code.
- Collaborating with development teams to establish and uphold artistic and technical shader standards.
- Driving the development of innovative approaches to address complex technical and creative challenges.
- Providing technical support in identifying and resolving inefficient content pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of physically-based rendering pipelines and shaders.
- Proficiency in creating stylized and PBR shaders using node-based shader editors.
- Knowledge of console, PC, and mobile platforms, and how to scale shaders to optimize for each.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
