About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions for Supply Chains team at BASF SE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to derive insights from data that support better and faster business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with project team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Translate business requirements into technical concepts, focusing on Generative AI frameworks and architecture.
- Drive the implementation of our GenAI-oriented Supply Chain Intelligence platform, including software development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with international teams to develop and implement microservices on the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Design and implement user interfaces for Generative AI, such as ChatGPT.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering and development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Technical expertise in JavaScript, Spring Boot,.NET Core, MS SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Angular, Vue, HTML5, and CSS.
- Unit testing skills using Jasmine, Karma, and NUnit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with constructing, developing, and implementing microservices.
- Maintaining infrastructure as code.
- Experience working on a DevOps team.
- Experience with configuring and deploying on the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
