We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Engineer II to join our team at Tecnatom S.A.U. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear safety and a proven track record of performing engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of engineering tasks in support of nuclear power plant operations, including preparation of inputs for transient analyses, fluid systems calculations, and control systems studies.
- Develop proficiency in thermo-hydraulic calculations for transient analyses and systems evaluations.
- Assess dose calculations and radiological consequences of accidents.
- Experience running codes for safety analyses purposes.
- Thoroughly document analyses and propose solutions to technical challenges.
- Participate in the preparation of licensing documentation and communicate with project teams.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites or industry workshops to gather or present technical information.
- Knowledge of the Spanish nuclear regulatory body and specific regulations is an asset.
