We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Specialist to join our team at Oceana Inc. as a key member of the Communications Team embedded in our Campaigns in Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital advocacy, fundraising, and marketing strategy and tactics to support Oceana's mission in Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a digital advocacy strategy to engage with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers in Europe.
  • Design and execute a social media campaign to raise awareness about Oceana's mission and activities in Europe.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop and implement a content strategy that showcases Oceana's work and impact in Europe.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize the digital advocacy and fundraising efforts.
  • Work closely with the Campaigns Team to develop and implement a fundraising strategy that leverages digital channels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in Europe to support Oceana's mission.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital media and social media marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital advocacy and fundraising strategies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in other European languages.
