About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our Alexa team in Spain. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and launching new experiences for Alexa that will delight millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch Amazon Echo devices in Spain, ensuring they exceed customer expectations by working efficiently with internal stakeholders and coordinating against tight timelines.
  • Enhance the current Alexa experience by identifying improvement opportunities, from customer pain points to areas for further improvement.
  • Design new Alexa features by running User Experience (UX) studies and correlating data insights to develop innovative ideas.
  • Localize global Alexa features, contributing requirements for Spain to create a truly local customer experience.
A Day in the Life
  • Develop new and big ideas to improve the Alexa product for a large customer base.
  • Navigate through incomplete and large sets of data, work hypothesis-based to generate insights, formulate a target vision, and drive a roadmap of initiatives to achieve this vision.
  • Work hands-on and with a pragmatic approach to get things done against a certain launch date.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market.
  • Be open to learning and adapting to new areas, such as the technical backbone of Alexa, press events, marketing, and go-to-market processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in product management, working with tech teams, UX design, and localization of products.
  • Ability to define customer experience needs, identify gaps, feature enhancements, and opportunities.
  • Fluency in Spanish language and culture is a hard requirement for this position.
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Design, or other relevant areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate recommendations to senior leaders and influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding of generative AI and LLMs.
