Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our New Client Administration team at Dac Beachcroft Llp. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective implementation of our financial crime policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and verify information provided in new client acceptance forms to ensure compliance with our financial crime policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with Fee Earners/Partners to obtain further information and clarification where necessary.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence reviews and analysis of information to establish the corporate structure of clients.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Fee Earners/Partners on the client onboarding process.
  • Escalate AML and sanctions issues in accordance with internal processes.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of existing clients, including review of daily screening results.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of customer due diligence.
  • Participate in financial crime working groups and wider OGC team discussions.
  • Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (and Deputies) to resolve AML concerns.
Additional Tasks
  • Assist with the drafting and updating of policy documents and guidance notes.
  • Carry out horizon scanning, maintaining awareness of regulatory/compliance changes, and developing knowledge of financial crime requirements.
  • Help implement process changes and respond to ad hoc queries from the Group.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, research, and other administrative tasks to support the team.
