Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Claire's Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations on products.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by driving sales through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge by staying up-to-date on new arrivals, promotions, and product features.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, stock management, and store operations as needed.

Requirements:

  • You must have some high school education or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • You should have basic computer skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
  • Able to stand during scheduled shifts and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Working Conditions:

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
