About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend DevOps Blockchain Engineer to join our team at Promote Project. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable blockchain architecture, contributing to the development of novel blockchain software, and ensuring the smooth operation of our blockchain nodes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable blockchain architecture, including unique blockspace markets and modular node components for data-availability (DA) and multi-VM execution environments.
  • Contribute to the development of novel blockchain software, including blockchain node software and DeFi protocols.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our blockchain nodes, including running commodity hardware and servers at scale, managing multiple instances on cloud providers, and modifying blockchain node software.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement new features and improvements to our blockchain platform.
  • Work closely with our product team to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Requirements
  • Experience with running commodity hardware and servers at scale, including managing multiple instances on cloud providers such as AWS, OVH, and Azure.
  • Experience running blockchain nodes and modifying blockchain node software, particularly geth, OP stack, and any zk rollup.
  • Multiple prior contributions to open source node software or open source DeFi protocols that are of sufficient complexity and publicly verifiable.
  • Proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Go, Rust, Javascript/Typescript, Python.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work experience at a well-known crypto organization, such as Coinbase, Uniswap, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Lido, Cosmos, Binance, Kraken, or Polygon.
  • Experience designing unique mechanisms/protocols at the blockchain level, such as mempool searchers/MEV and advanced DeFi dapps.
  • Prior experience running/staking ETH consensus forming nodes directly.
