We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our team in Madrid. As an Associate Investment Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the investments team in the asset management of our portfolio and the acquisition of new assets.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Asset Management team in the preparation of annual business plans and execution.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with appointed Property Managers/local operators, meeting regularly to discuss key activities, understand both quantitative and qualitative data, and support the Asset Manager in routine management and supervision.
- Manage the provision of all necessary data for management purposes, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Real Estate and Estate Management (CREEM) metrics.
- Assist in the management of liquidity for development and CAPEX projects, including monthly drawdowns of equity/external debt and reconciliation of budget vs actual spent.
- Support the transaction team with the analysis of potential investment opportunities across the entire process chain.
- Prepare investment memoranda to be presented to the Investment Committee members.
- Assist members of the local team during due diligence processes and coordinate third-party consultants; review due diligence reports and analyze the impact of findings.
- First experience in real estate business, ideally in consultancy or investment and asset management.
- Understanding of the investment management industry.
- Good knowledge and use of financial models.
- Degree or equivalent experience related to business administration or real estate.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Positive relationship and interpersonal skills.
